Where to Buy a Hermes Birkin Without Waiting?

When I travelled to Las Vegas a few years ago before the economy meltdown, my friend asked me to buy a Birkin for her from Hermes in Las Vegas. Whenever I got into a Hermes store and asked if they have any Birkin stock, the answer is always NO. But it happened that one of her friends’ friends knew the sales manager in Hermes Las Vegas. That time I still got a NO as an answer when I popped out that question. Only after I mentioned that sales manager’s name they started to bring out three birkin bags from the back and let me choose.
That is the history. The wait for a Hermes Birkin is over now.
A friend told me that Hermes started to sell ready Birkin in the store in Sloane Street. They told her they will have a few Birkin bags every month but they don’t know when. If you were a real lover of Hermes Birkin call them every day. Finally my friend got her Birkin without putting her name on a list.
Back to Los Angeles, last month my sister told me after she spent nearly $4000 on a tie, belt and wallet she was allowed to pick one Birkin out of five of their stock.
I wonder if the craze for Hermes Birkin will finally end if there is no more waiting list…
