Update - How to tell a fake Hermes Birkin
Lambskin lining, clear-cut correct font engravement on metal plate, slim diamond-shaped end-handle stitching, soft leather, they are not the standard answer to an authentic Hermes birkin any more.
My sourse told me a so-called OMAS company claims to make the most authentic birkin bags apart from Hermes. They have been in the replica market for more than 4 years. The latest omas birkin bags sell more than $1,000 USD. They claim they are using the same togo leather used by Hermes.
My sourse also told me most of these bags (without logo plate) are shipped to Japan. The logo plates are then put on the bags in Japan. I start to wonder some authentic Hermes Birkin bags sold in the second hand shops which are prevalent in Japan might be fake!

I buy lots of birkins from them before but he wont let me exchange my bag. On their website they says can exchange once!!!He is so mean and rude!!!
But I like their sales manager Wit Chan,He is nice and I heard he is gonna have his own company.Omas will ruin by their boss!!!
I cannot agree with you more. omas boss sucks!!! He changed his name from time to time, from Tony, Billy, Jack to Mike, etc. He increased the prices of the bags without notice. I bought many bags from him. Some studs on the bags gone rusty. He didn’t exchange or repair them for me!!
I never heard of wit chan though. But I’d rather work with other sellers, as I know omas is not the only one that made authentic quality birkin bags now. He might be the only one that made authentic quality birkin bags in 2009, but not in 2010!!!! I am happy to see he has competition. plus his bags are crazy expensive..

I bought two ostrich birkins from omas and it was beautiful but later what I purchased were fucking rubbish!!!!!
Because omas got birkins from others sometimes and mix them up with their bags.I think good birkins are all come from other suppliers and he sells them as omas to make more money and reputations!!!

I haven’t try to buy any from them, but your experience is very helpful.
The reason why I hesitate is Western Union payment. You will never get reimburse if there is any problem happen when the item is not as described.

Omas is the first one that made authentic quality birkin bags, so it is known by many buyers. I agree with Lucy that nowadays there are many other sellers in the market that can make the same quality as omas did with cheaper price.
The hanjin is just another factory that used omas name, thinking they would sell more under omas name. You need to ask them to show you the detail photos like the font on the metal plate, the engraved craftsman ID, the lock number, the stitching at the end of the handles, lining close-up, logo on inside zipper, H zip tab, these are the things you should look for to judge if it is of very high quality., while that site didn’t show these photos. hope this helps.

guys.. thanks so much for the explanation… i was planning to purchase a bag from OMAS, and to pay with western union,,, somehow deep in my heart i wasnt sure and yet so tempted by their beautiful bags… thats way i spent 3days searching about this company’s creditability.
i wrote an email and got the answer back by this guy wit chan,.. and he is an ass.. unfriendly , he.. never answer my questions.. just strait to the point kind of answer.
btw, any of you guys can recommend me a good online store that i can purchase a “fake-authentic” hermes bags ?

Omas is too expensive. They advertise on Tradekey pricing bags at 500, then when I email the price is 1350. They sent me the wrong bag leather and wouldn’t replace it with a new bag.
Who are the up and coming names? Hanjin has to be related to Omas. Everytime I email Omas, I get a follow up email from Hanjin, so they have to be the same company. Also, if you check out the salutation at the bottom of the email, it’s exactly the same font, etc. I would prefer to do business with higher quality personnel.
