Tod’s D-Styling Duffle Bag
I am not a fan of fixed structured bag therefore I am (or I should use WAS) not a big fan of this Tod’s d-styling bag either. It all changed when I bumped into this lovely bag in Kensington High Street yesterday.
I spotted this sagging (this is bad for skin but lovely for bags!) beige handbag with polished hardware miles away. It didn’t take me long to see that clear-cut logo on both ends of the bag: Tod’s. I have to say this bag is much prettier in person than it is in any photos. And the essence of this bag is those polished matt golden hardware and that precisely engraved logo.
The authentic bag from mytheresa.com – which one do you buy into? A sagging bag or a fully-stuffed bag?
This lady must be proud of her bag!
Now I know why ladies buy great fashion items… I love being stopped and asked “where I can buy your bag / shoes?”!!
My job to spot the fake:
Ladies, check out the vertical veins on the hardware, this is not polished!
updated: I was in Harrods yesterday and found some Tod’s D-Styling Duffle Bag doesn’t have polish hardware. Some bags have similar hardware as the photo shown above, but logo engraving is much more clear-cut in authentic bags!
I wish it will be available in Tod’s in Bichester village one day!
